You are responsible for all courses in which you register and do not drop by the published deadlines. See Dates & Deadlines (Important Dates).
Deadline for Fee Payment for courses registered on or before December 13, 2014: December 13, 2014 before 2100 hours (9:00 p.m.).
Failure to pay fees by this date and time will result in you being dropped from ALL of your courses at 2100 hours (9:00 p.m.) on December 17, 2014, some exceptions apply (see below). Please review the Registration Fee Payment and Refund Policy (pdf).
- Canada Student Loan students with approved student loans on their Langara file with the Financial Aid Office - check your student account to confirm that the approval is in place. The words 'Student Loan Deferral' will appear if your loan has been approved. Please read the Financial Aid Bulletin.
- Students who have provided documentation that their fees will be covered by third-party sponsors, (e.g., HRDC, Vocational Rehab Services, First Nations' Band sponsors).
- Students who have a balance owing of less than $249.99.
Deadline for Fee Payment for courses registered after December 17, 2014: Immediately after you register into courses.
NOTE: You will not be dropped from your courses for non-payment of fees (see below). and you will remain liable for these fees.
If you register into courses after December 13, 2014 your fees are due immediately after you register. Any outstanding balances on or after January 13, 2015 will be subject to compounding interest and late payment charges. Late payment service charges ($10) and 1.8% interest will be added as of this date and thereafter the same will be applied monthly on the ninth day of each subsequent month until the fees are paid in full.
