Non-Credit Registration (Course Audit)
You cannot register for a course on a non-credit basis via the Registration System. You must register at Registrar and Enrolment Services on or after the first day of classes, May 7, 2012. Check with Registrar and Enrolment Services for more information.
Note: You may not switch a course from non-credit to credit, or vice versa, at any point after your initial registration.
Restricted courses
If you wish to register on a non-credit basis for a course that is restricted to a certain career or arts and science limited enrolment program, or is restricted for other reasons, you must obtain permission from the relevant department.
Students with Disabilities
If you are a student with a documented disability and require support services and accommodations, please contact Disability Services at 604-323-5509. Disability Services works with students with disabilities to arrange appropriate support services on a case-by-case basis.
Students with disabilities must have an intake appointment with Disability Services and provide the appropriate medical documentation at least three (3) months prior to the start of the semester, to allow adequate time to arrange accommodations.
Please note that some accommodations, such as Sign Language Interpreters or Typewell services, may take up to six (6) months to arrange. We will consider requests received less than three months prior to the start of the semester. In such cases, Disability Services will make every reasonable effort to arrange the requested accommodations, but we cannot guarantee their availability. Dropping a Course
Pay careful attention to the course drop and refund deadlines. See Important Dates and Refunds.
Withdrawal Deadlines
Withdrawal deadlines for Summer Semester 2012 are as follows:
- June 1: Last day to withdraw from May - June half-semester courses
- June 29: Last day to withdraw from regular semester courses
- July 20: Last day to withdraw from June - August half-semester courses (Please note: to withdraw from June - August half-semester courses, you must go to the Registrar and Enrolment Services office prior to 3pm on Firday, July 20, 2012.)
If you have not dropped a course on or before the dates noted in Important Dates, and you do not wish to continue in the course, you must withdraw from the course.
Online access to drop or withdraw from courses is available until 2100 hours, Monday through Sunday, except for closures.
Please note that if you have any outstanding fees, your withdrawal cannot be processed.
For Career, and Arts and Science (Limited Enrolment) Program Students
Program Course Packages by Term
Refer to the Career Program Course Package by Term to ensure that you are registering into the correct course sections for your term in the program.
To check the Program Course Packages by Term:
- Go to the Homepage.
- Click on Register for courses.
- Click on Program Course Packages by Term.
Open Career Registration
On March 28, 2012, you may add program courses from outside your term.
International Students

For Bachelor of Science in Nursing Students
Registration by Course:
If you do not need to register in all the required courses in a given term, select REGISTRATION BY COURSE. With this option, you will need to register separately for each course.
Registration by Term Package:
If you need to register in all required courses in a given tern, select REGISTRATION BY TERM PACKAGE. With this option, you will be registered in all courses as a package, including support courses such as Biology and English. Non-nursing or nursing electives are not part of the package; therefore, you will need to register for them separately.
