Course Description

Theory and practice of subject analysis, learning to apply Library of Congress, Sears, and other specialized subject headings and to apply Library of Congress and Dewey Decimal classification numbers to library materials.

Registration in this course is restricted to students admitted to the Diplomas in Library and Information Technology, Library and Information Technology (Flexible Participation Option), and Library and Information Technology (BBA Transfer Option).
