Langara College Breaks Enrolment Records

Langara College welcomed over 9,000 students this September – the largest per term enrolment in College history. Significant increases were seen in both new student (6%) and returning student (8.4%) enrolments. Enrolment in university-transfer was up over 9.1%, while degree programs increased over 4.5% compared to last year.
“We are very excited this fall term,” said Kevin Paul, Langara College Dean of Student Support Services. “Enrolment numbers have been rising steadily over the last three years, and are up markedly this term with an increase of eight percent over last fall.”
Two new facilities are now available to help accommodate this record number of students providing additional classroom and study space, food services, and bookstore and administrative offices.
