Filming and Photo Shoots in the Library

Student use of the library space for research and study is a priority.  As one of the busiest spaces on campus, filming and photo shoots including course assignments during library opening hours will not be permitted to minimize disruption for our users.  To request filming or a photo shoot when the Library is closed, please submit your request to Facilities (facilities@langara.ca) who will coordinate all requests.  Please include in your request details that include the scenes to be filmed or photographed, the specific locations needed within the Library, and the dates and times of the proposed filming or photo shoot.

The Library will evaluate each request for off-hours filming and photo shoot individually with substantial considerations given to the adequate availability of certified security to supervise the filming or photo shoot, and the potential risks to our facility, equipment and collections.
