Overview
The Explore Program provides French Canadian and international students with an opportunity to improve their English speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in an immersion environment.
The program components include English language instruction, educational field trips, elective courses, and recreational activities. Through this program, students will have the opportunity to get to know people from Quebec and other parts of Canada as well as students from around the world.
Students live with host families in the Vancouver area for the duration of the program.
The five week program runs from June 21 to July 23 with an orientation session starting June 17 for international students. The orientation session provides international students with an orientation to Vancouver, an introduction to Quebec so they will better understand the Quebec students who will also be studying English in this program, and an overview of the Canadian multicultural environment.
