Access to Canada’s top universities is limited to students with excellent academic performance and high English language ability. For students who do not meet the criteria for direct entry into first year, transferring to these universities is possible by studying one to two years at Langara College in Vancouver.
The University Quality Alliance program was started to assist students to access five of Canada’s top universities.
The universities in the UQA program include:
- Saint Mary's University
- University of British Columbia
- University of Saskatchewan
- University of Victoria
- York University
Each of these universities has an excellent reputation, offers a wide range of undergraduate degrees and presents a full range of student services characteristic of a large university campus.
Note: Students must meet each university’s admission requirements when transferring from Langara.
