Langara College students applying to the homestay program must complete the homestay application form and return it and their homestay fees by the following dates:

Students who do not pay the placement fee and deposit at the time of application will not have a homestay arranged for them. Please note that a limited number of host families are available and that students will be placed on a first-come basis. Students who apply to the program after the application deadlines may not have host families arranged for them prior to arrival and will have to arrange for their own temporary accommodation until a host family can be found. In these situations, the following options are available to the student:
- they can stay with friends or relatives
- they can stay in a hotel or dormitory in Vancouver
We encourage students to apply early to the program so that we will have time to find the best possible match for each person, and to help ensure that the students will have host families immediately upon arrival in Vancouver.
Please remember that students who arrive in Vancouver before the homestay start dates listed above must find their own accommodation in Vancouver until the homestay period begins.
