Homestay students who are arriving in Vancouver alone and would like their host families to meet them at the airport can request this service.
Students requesting airport pick-up must pay an additional $50 fee. This should be included along with the initial payment of homestay fees
They must also inform the college of their travel plans (date and time of arrival, airline and flight number, and if any relatives or friends will be meeting them at the airport). This information must be given to the college as early as possible, but it must be received at least two weeks prior to arrival. Failure to do so could mean that the student will not be met at the airport.
Students who do not submit their homestay application forms before the application deadlines and do not have a homestay arranged for them will not be met at the airport.
