Step 1: Prepare the Application Package
- Meet Langara’s minimum admission requirements:
- Successful completion of 12 years of formal education (equivalent to
BC Grade 12)
- Proof of English language proficiency (varies by program. Click
here for a list of English language proficiency requirements.)
- Complete a Langara application form (download
here) or apply online
- Send official transcripts and graduation certificate of secondary
and post secondary education*
- Original copies are required. Photocopies, faxes and electronic
scans are NOT accepted
- Include certified English translations if necessary

- Include proof of English language proficiency. Official exam result
certificates are required for applications to the Arts & Science
University Transfer program. Photocopies of exam result certificates are
accepted for STEP and LEAP programs only.
- Include the $155CDN non-refundable application fee (payable by Visa
or Master Card for overseas students)
- Send the application form and all documents together by courier to:

Step 2: Offer of Admission
- After your application is approved and all documents have been
verified, Langara will send you an Offer of Admission
- Upon receipt of the Offer of Admission, please submit payment of the
tuition deposit. The International Student Deposit for the Arts &
Science University Transfer, Career Studies, and Limited Enrolment
Programs is $6000CDN (which includes a non-refundable, non-transferable
Commitment Fee of $500CDN). The International Student Deposit will be
applied to tuition fees in the first semester. STEP and LEAP programs
require payment for the first two sessions ($5560CDN)
- Once Langara has received the Deposit, you will be sent the official
Letter of Acceptance by both email and regular mail
Step 3: Letter of Acceptance
- Once you have received the Letter of Acceptance, apply for a Study
Permit and Temporary Resident Visa at the nearest Canadian Embassy,
Consulate, High Commission, or Visa Centre
- Carefully read all information provided to you by the College
- Apply for 3 months of private medical insurance
- Take the Online Orientation to prepare for the next step of
Registration
