About the Program

The Integrative Energy Healing Practitioner Certificate Program (IEH) bridges the wisdom of the east and west, including exciting scientific advances in a transformational approach to promoting health and preventing disease.
Learn the emotional, mental, and spiritual concepts underlying energy-based healing as you examine the connection between consciousness, energy, and healing. Explore the human body's energy field and discover its role in detecting disease to bring about well-being. From an energy-based perspective, learn the theory and practical skills related to human anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
As you learn the foundations of advanced energy healing, you will also learn complex and powerful self-care and self-regulation techniques designed to sustain health and deepen connection to Self.
This three-year, part-time study, advanced practitioner program is held at a retreat site four times each year. The program includes supervised practice sessions and student clinics held in Vancouver healthcare settings. There is a world service practicum project in year three, with an international practicum available in India. This basic certificate provides a link to the Advanced IEH Certificate Program for non-health care professionals.

The South India internship, now in its fifth year, is designed specifically for selected South India villages. It provides 3rd year students and graduates of the Integrative Energy Healing Program and students of the Advanced Healing Science component of the AIEH program with an opportunity to combine an internship with a pilgrimage to South India. Exploration of energy and consciousness is viewed in ways that promote understanding of the physical-energetic interface in relation to health and disease and spiritual development. The internship has five components: first, we provide IEH treatments to villagers and children in several village settings; second, we offer mini teaching sessions to village women and groups of school children; third, we visit sacred sites, particularly the ashram of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother and the matrimandir in Auroville; fourth, we attend teachings of yogis and scholars from the Integral yoga tradition in addition to attending other cultural events, and fifth, we meet in circle to deepen our personal connections with the sacred.
