The Psychology department has a dedicated faculty with diverse backgrounds and scholarly interests. We take pride in quality teaching and commitment to student success. We offer the most comprehensive and diverse University Transfer program in Psychology in the Lower Mainland.

We are committed to meeting the needs of students for flexible course offerings. We offer a diverse program with a breadth of courses that vary from neuroscience and cognitive psychology to research methods and analysis to developmental and social psychology to creativity and leadership psychology. In addition to the diversity of courses offered, there are other opportunities for extending your educational experience. Some students may work with faculty on research projects via the student work assistance program or faculty research grants. We also regularly award a scholarship, the Allen Cup (link), and the Norm Carsley Memorial Bursary.

We are a dynamic faculty of 15 members with a variety of backgrounds in research methods, industrial/organizational psychology, clinical psychology, abnormal psychology, counselling psychology, developmental psychology, social psychology, cognitive psychology, exercise and sport psychology, health psychology, and biopsychology.
