Modern Languages

News

The Department of Modern Languages (MLAN) offers sections of French, Chinese, Spanish and Japanese. Some courses are available through Guided Independent Study (GIS) as an alternative method to complete course work. Talented and highly motivated instructors serve the department. The department is constantly developing new courses, and upgrading the existing courses to live up to the academic expectations of today’s college and university students.

Furthermore, the department of Modern Languages organizes cultural activities, such as international field trips and exchange programs with other educational institutions.  It also collaborates with other departments on campus to provide students with extensive learning opportunities.
