Modern Languages Student Work Assistance Program (SWAP) Work

The Department of Modern Languages is accepting applications for an on-call, as needed position. The quantity of work will depend on specific projects available, and no minimum hours are guaranteed. This position might suit a SWAP student who already has a position but is able to work more hours. Work hours will be flexible.
Possible projects include:
- converting Word documents to HTML and creating web pages;
- organizing departmental book collection;
- ripping and renaming audio files;
- editing and updating Word documents;
- and other tasks as needed.
Applicants should provide a résumé and be able to demonstrate evidence of the following skills and qualifications:
- Spanish reading and writing at an intermediate level or higher (knowledge of French would be an asset);
- HTML and web authoring at an intermediate level or higher;
- Microsoft Word editing and formatting at an intermediate level or higher;
- audio file management.
