Langara Student Wins National Japanese Speech Contest

Langara student Sam Ramdani, the first place winner of the intermediate category in the BC Japanese Speech Contest hosted by The Consulate General of Japan in Vancouver, was selected to participate in the Canada National Japanese Speech Contest. The contest was held at the University of Calgary on March 26. Sam again won the first prize for the intermediate category in the contest. He received a $1000 travel voucher from the national competition organizing committee. The contest is the most prestigious Japanese speech contest in Canada.
