Overview

The interdisciplinary programs explore issues and ideas beyond the boundaries of traditional disciplines or subject areas in a manner that is innovative, stimulating and informative.

An interdisciplinary approach provides students with a broad education. Each program offers students unique opportunities to develop their analytical and communication skills that are essential for the workplace and further academic study.

All courses are university transferable. This provides students with the basis from which to pursue a university degree in that specific area of study or in a related area of study. Each program is structured in a way that allows students to select a wide range of elective or support courses to meet diploma or degree requirements.

The Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS) department offers a variety of two-year programs leading to an Arts & Science diploma and or an Associate of Arts degree.
