Recognizing Excellence

Langara College honours employee excellence with the annual Recognition and Achievement Awards. These awards highlight employees who consistently demonstrate excellence through achievement and contribution to the College internal and external communities.

The program provides annual awards in three categories:

Leadership Excellence - honours an employee who has made an outstanding contribution in a learning leadership role, to the internal and/or external College community.

Service Excellence - honours a non-teaching employee who, as a partner in the learning process, has made an exceptional contribution to the internal and/or external College community.

Teaching Excellence - honours an employee who has exhibited consistent commitment to student success and teaching, and has had a significant impact on the academic and personal growth of students.

The deadline for nominations is Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 1200 hours. Please send completed nominations to the attention of the Associate Vice-President, Human Resources.

The Awards Committee is chaired by the Associate Vice-President, Human Resources and will recommend the award recipients to the President. This year's winners will be announced on April 27, 2012.
