Graphic Design
Publishing students learn theoretical and practical aspects of graphic design that include typography, ink and paper selection as well as page layout and design.
Photo Collages
Near the end PUBL 1124 (Adobe Photoshop), the Publishing Program students tap into their wide range of Photoshop skills to create a scene that couldn't exist in reality. Using a minimum of four images and a main background image, these elements are combined digitally in a photo-realistic manner. The source files have been included to show the raw images as a contrast to their finished work.
All images are from December 2008.

Magazine Covers
The magazine cover projects were a collaboration between the Publishing program and the Professional Photo-Imaging Program. Publishing and Photo-Imaging students worked together to develop and create a Fashion or Soundstream magazine cover, or the cover of a Gardening supplies catalogue.
