Application Procedures


Permanent Residents and
Canadian Students

International Students

  1. Download and complete an Application Form.
  2. Pay your Tuition Fees.
  3. Submit your application
    Overseas students: Send the Application Form and the fee payment information by fax, courier, or mail.
    Students already in Vancouver: Students already in Vancouver: Submit the Application Form in person to the Continuing Studies Department at Langara College.
  4. Receive your Confirmation of Enrollment.
  5. Arrive for the start of the STEP session.
  6. Take the STEP Placement Test to determine your level of study.
  7. Classes start.

  1. Download and complete an Application Form.
  2. Complete the information for payment of your Application Fee by Visa or MasterCard only.
  3. Submit your application
    Overseas students: Courier or mail your Application Form with your Documents.
    Students already in Vancouver: Submit the Application Form and Documents in person to the Continuing Studies Department at Langara College.
  4. Your documents will be reviewed by Langara College.
  5. If you are accepted, you will receive your Offer of Admission.
  6. Pay your Tuition Fees.
  7. Receive your Letter of Acceptance.
    Your Letter of Acceptance for STEP states that you can begin the Arts and Science (University-transfer) Program at Langara College when you meet the English languge requirement.
  8. Apply for your Study Permit and, if necessary, your Temporary Resident Visa.
  9. Arrive for the start of the STEP session.
  10. Take the STEP Placement Test to determine your level of study.
  11. Classes start.
