- Visit, call or email to ask for the LEAP brochure and application form, or download and print out the LEAP application form.
- Submit your application package in person to the Continuing Studies office. A complete application package must include:
- A completed application form
- Canadian/permanent resident students 19 years of age or older do not need to submit official transcripts with their academic record.
- English language assessment score (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, LPI, or CAEL score)
- Proof of status (e.g. Permanent Resident Card, Landing Papers, or Citizenship Card)
- Application fee of CAD$40
- Tuition fee of CAD$1212
- The application and tuition fees are payable to Langara College by VISA or MASTERCARD.
- If you are in Vancouver, you can also pay by debit card, cash, or cheque drawn on a local Canadian bank.
- The application fee is non-refundable.
- Registration is on a first-come first-served basis until classes are full. Students are advised to register and pay tuition fees at least 1 month before the program start date.
- When you have paid your tuition fees, you will receive a letter and email with details regarding the orientation and placement test.

Please note: LEAP applications cannot be done online. If you cannot print out the LEAP application form, email us and we will send you an application form. Fill out all sections of the application form.
- Mail or courier your application package. A complete application package must include:
- When your application has been approved, you will receive a letter or email from Langara College to confirm your acceptance, with information on how to pay your tuition fees.
- When your tuition fees have been received by the College, you will receive an official Letter of Acceptance. You will need this Letter of Acceptance to apply for a study permit (formerly known as a student authorization and/or visa).
You may study up to 6 months in Canada on a visitor's visa.
