The program begins in old Havana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and home to the largest collection of remaining colonial-era architecture. You’ll meet the curator of the Photography Museum of Cuba, have lunch with one of Cuba’s most important artists, photograph a salsa dance troupe, listen to live music, journey by Soviet Army truck to the peaks of Topes de Collantes in the Escambray Mountains, photograph the lush tropical forest of the Rio San Juan region, and swim in the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea in Trinidad de Cuba.
