Grade Requirement
In order to progress in the program, students must achieve a minimum C+ or 65% grade in all courses. Students unable to meet this minimum will not be permitted to advance to the next course. Furthermore, students must achieve a minimum C+ or 65% grade in all courses that are part of the curriculum to be awarded the Continuing Studies Diploma in Advanced Accounting.
Scheduling
The Advanced Accounting program is a full-time program, offered over two academic years. Each semester is 13-15 weeks in length with a two to three week break between semesters. Students will have assigned course schedule each semester. Courses are generally held on weekday evenings (6:30-9:30pm) and ocassionally on weekends (9:00am-4:00pm). Intake dates are January, May and September.
Please note: Those starting in January and May semester will complete the program in 5 consecutive semesters. Those starting in September semester will complete the program in 6 semesters, with a term break in Term 3.
Effective January 2025 intake and forward, all students will complete the program in 6 semesters, and there will be no scheduled term break.
