Instructional Media Services produces photo IDs for students, faculty and staff at the beginning of each term and at limited times during the term. Starting in this fall term we will be issuing a new photo ID card with a magnetic stripe. This card will allow you to to obtain your U-Pass card from one of the kiosks located in the Library, Bookstore and the Langara Student Union Building. Check below for times and locations. Photo ID's can only be obtained if you are currently enrolled in courses, not before or after.
Please note: Instructional Media Services is no longer issuing U-Passes. Please use your new student card to dispense your U-Pass card from one of the following locations: Student Union Building, Library and Bookstore.

Please note: If the Monday is a holiday the Saturday prior to the holiday will be closed.
What you need to get a student card
- To be a current registered Langara student during the time you are taking classes, not before or after.
- One piece of photo ID
- Student number
Reasons for having a student card
- Access to Langara Library privileges (get a barcode for your card from the Library).
- Student discounts where available throughout the community.
- Dispensing your U-Pass card from the vending machines at the following locations: Student Union Building, Library, Bookstore.
