The CDT is designed to test the chemical knowledge that you have retained since your last course. However, you may wish to prepare for it by reviewing the following topics:
For those wishing to enter CHEM 1118: Review your basic introductory chemistry -- moles, stoichiometry, nomenclature, basic algebra, units, and significant figures.
For those wishing to enter CHEM 1120: Review all the above as well asgases, thermochemistry, equilibrium chemistry and acid / base chemistry.

General chemistry textbooks (with titles like Chemistry, Basic Chemistry, etc.)
A wide selection is available on the 3d floor of the Langara Library. Browse the books with call numbers from QD31-QD33.
The Key Study Guide: Chemistry 11. Covers the BC grade 11 chemistry curriculum.

Using the Langara College Library
Students must have a Langara College Student Card to take books out of the library. Students without a Student Card can still review the books in the library.
