One of Langara College's academic goals is to actively explore and pursue opportunities for scholarly activity and collaborative research. Many Langara faculty, staff, and administrators have engaged in scholarly activities over the years, but their research interests and accomplishments may not be widely known to the College community. As such, Langara is taking the first steps toward establishing an infrastructure that will promote and sustain research and scholarly activity.
A Scholarly Activity Steering Committee (SASC) with representatives from various educational divisions has been formed to support the development and maintenance of a scholarly activity and research culture at Langara College.
The Scholarly Activity survey is now complete, with the outcomes to be presented soon.
